ATI Aviation Services is a full-service, self-contained, FAA/EASA-approved landing gear maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in Cleveland, Ohio, centrally located in North America.

ATI was founded in 2001 with the strategic vision of offering a full range of on-site services designed to meet mission-critical landing gear and component requirements for commercial, military, and regional aircrafts. All components are processed in our 55,000-square foot facility, allowing ATI to take full accountability and responsibility for our clients’ repairs with reliable and timely turnaround, while passing the cost savings on to our clients.

Summary: Full-time, first shift position opening for a Safety Engineer & Plating Supervisor with Aviation industry experience.

Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour

Job Duties / Requirements:

  • Conduct chemical analysis, Lab work and keep test panels up to date on Plating Line
  • Follow all EPA regulations on Plating and painting lines
  • Manage all preventive maintenance on plating line
  • Ensuring the safe quality/efficient operation of electroplating
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping of assigned work area
  • Act as the Site Emergency Coordinator (training, evacuation planning, emergency response
  • Responsible for leading cross-functional safety teams and work groups as required.
  • Develop, maintain and disseminate a variety of safety information and training topics.
  • Conduct new employee safety/first day training.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Meet compliance and reporting requirements of federal &/or state regulations.
  • Maintain all site required documentation related to safety issues (i.e. accident reports, inspection reports, training logs, etc.).
  • Perform job site analysis, determine employee exposure, and institute safe work procedures.
  • Reducing/Eliminating lost time accidents
  • Set objectives for the HSE Coordinator.
  • Provide assistance in areas such as communication with employees and vendors, data compilation, preparation of reports, meeting minutes, etc.
  • Other duties that ensure production/quality targets are achieved

Requirements:

  • Three years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations is required.
  • Must have experience interpreting regulatory requirements and implementing and coordinating OSHA compliance programs.
  • Must have experience in chrome, nickel, or cadmium plating.
  • A professional, positive and team player attitude a must.
  • Ability to adapt in changing environment and changing priorities.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Aviation Industry experience a plus
  • MUST PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL TESTING
