Plating Technician
Location: Cleveland, OH
ATI Aviation Services is a full-service, self-contained, FAA/EASA-approved landing gear maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in Cleveland, Ohio, centrally located in North America.
ATI was founded in 2001 with the strategic vision of offering a full range of on-site services designed to meet mission-critical landing gear and component requirements for commercial, military, and regional aircrafts. All components are processed in our 55,000-square foot facility, allowing ATI to take full accountability and responsibility for our clients’ repairs with reliable and timely turnaround, while passing the cost savings on to our clients.
Summary: Full-time, first shift position opening for a Plating Technician familiar with chrome, nickel, or cadmium plating. Experience in any of these metal finishing processes will be considered. This is not a fast pace production, but one that focuses on plating all parts to a high degree of quality for the aerospace industry.

Job Duties:
- Ability to read simple blue prints and diagrams without assistance.
- Previous experience masking individual pieces for plating operations.
- Have an understanding of plating terminology such as current density, surface area, amperage, plating time, etc.
- Basic mathematic skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ever-changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Previous experience handling chemicals safely.
- Must be able to apply common sense in carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Have the ability to maintain all plating records and prepare documentation to process work orders.
- Maintains clean, well-organized work area while performing all assigned tasks in a manner consistent with company safety/environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blue prints
- Aerospace experience preferred
- MUST PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL TESTING
